MIDI sequencer / editor software "Sekaiju"

"Sekaiju" is free, open source MIDI sequencer / editor software for creating and editing MIDI data. You can record MIDI keyboard or synthesizer's playing to the computer, and you can compose music to play with your MIDI modules or synthesizers. Since it allows to edit all kind of event, and has unlimited undo and redo feature, Sekaiju also can be used as a powerful MIDI editor. It has a real-time input feature which can input each MIDI channel messages into spearated tracks at the same time, too.

• Adopt multi document method, which can open multiple MIDI data all at once and can change playing music immediately.
• Come with track list window, piano roll window, event list window, and musical score window, which supports multiple track concurrent editing.
• Each window has print preview and print feature.
• Able to operate such as input, edit and save while keeping playing MIDI data.
• All kind of MIDI events including meta event and system-exclusive event are editable.
• Unlimited undo and redo.
• Editing features such as modify events's track, time, channel, key, velocity, duration, value, and channel all at once.
• Editing features such as quantize, beat scan and adjust by tempo, make stroke, break up note and make trill.
• Support an external extension program SAL (Sekaiju Application Language) which enables you to make user-defined editing feature.
• Both TPQN base at the resolution (time-base) from 1 to 1920 and SMPTE24/25/29.97/30 base at the resolution 1 to 255 is supported. Time mode and resolution can be changed at any time.

• Early Cakewalk sequence file(*.wrk) load.
• Cherry sequence file(*.chy) load and save.

Please note:

Sekaiju is made in Japan, therefore default GUI language is Japanese. Here shows two way to change to English.

(a) Select "設定(S)" - "言語(Language)" from the menu and select "English" in the language dialog, and restart Sekaiju. If the menu gets character corruption, press [Alt]+[S] and then [Alt]+[L], and you'll open the dialog.

(b) Open "Sekaiju.ini" in your text editor, change "UserInterface=Japanese" to "UserInterface=English", and then save it, and then execute Sekaiju.exe

Older version than Sekaiju 1.0 has been stopped releasing because of rough-around-the-edges, sorry.
